The Harry Homing Mission:
A Home for Every Pet
Every Pet Deserves the Love & Care of Their Very Own Pet Parent
Harry . . . as he lived, as he was loved, and as he
should still be.

Harry and Vette: Two happy little boys on
holiday. . . . A home made complete.
". . . From Great Evil, Must Be Made to Come Great Good . . ."
— Jordan Kelly, Founder & Executive Director, IIIVE
This section of IIIVE.org exists because of Harry, the gentle, sweet and loving little papillon tortured and intentionally killed by New Zealand's Massey University Companion Animal 'Hospital' in December, 2025.
Harry had been admitted, as a private fee-paying patient, purely for rehydration during a burst of uncharacteristically very hot early summer temperatures. He was admitted late on a Sunday night without the safety of a primary vet's referral. An unsupervised intern and her cruel ICU colleagues catastrophically and repeatedly overdosed him with an unauthorised convenience sedative, with "teaching" staff then covertly using him in unspeakably cruel student-filmed activities, before day shift clinician Dr Steffi Maja Jalava coerced his owner into signing a "euthanasia" "consent" form under a false diagnosis — and in doing so, ensured the permanent destruction of the only living evidence of what had been done to him. Massey University’s Abuse & Killing of Harry Kelly
In founding IIIVE in Harry's honour, IIIVE’s Executive Director Jordan Kelly is determined that pets without homes should – just like Harry and his big brother, Vette (both pictured) – have the chance to know true pet parent love and care. The Harry Homing Mission is IIIVE's commitment to that goal: an international directory of reputable organisations offering rehoming services, that will be built one listing at a time and grow ongoingly.
Honoring the Contrast:
Rescuers' Determination to Save the Almost Unsaveable vs Massey's Determination to Destroy the Perfectly Viable
The international rescue and rehoming community that inspires this directory-building project operates on the grit and goodheartedness of those dedicated to the very mission that Massey betrays. The contrast between the heroes that save the lives of very often the near-unsaveable, amd those who wilfully, fraudulently, coercively and cruelly took Harry's life could not be more stark. Please note that while each listing has been checked prior to inclusion, you must still do your own due diligence. We have, for example, made a check of adoption fees of those we include. While we absolutely believe that an adoption fee is both necessary to help a rescue and rehoming organisation recoup the often very considerable costs in taking in and readying an animal for a new home, to be frank, a worrying proportion of agencies operate as commercial reselling operations with rescue-and-rehoming branding. Even between SPCAs in one country, fees vary significantly – and for that reason, you will not find very many of the large corporate organisations here, although there are (researched) exceptions. We do not condone adoption as a profiteering venture. We also do not include any website that charges a fee for displaying a pet.
Note also that, while plans for IIIVE include significant expansion over time, to date the Institute is being built by the dedication of two determined humans . . . and if you find an organisation that slipped through our vetting process and shouldn't be here, we ask you to alert us so that it can be removed immediately.
In the meantime, if you operate a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter offering vetted adoption services, please let us know about your organisation by completing the form below.
